I'm using gpu tweak to overclock my ASUS direct cu II gtx 780, and I have it running at 1280mhz (as high as gpu tweak will go) and 1.125v. After 30 minutes of furmark, it's still under 70C. So I'm wondering if I should get another program that can push the clock even higher (if so which one). Also, is it worth it to overclock the memory? It's currently at 1502mhz, even though gpu tweak says it should be 6008mhz.

Solution

Uninstall the ASUS utility and give a try to MSI Afterburner.

Also, your clock is showed as 1502MHz because the program show the based clock for the memory that is 1502MHz, you 6008MHz exist but are not showed by the program.

Finally, you should overclock the memory too...that setting give you also a performance...

Finally, you should overclock the memory too...that setting give you also a performance difference vs stock. Remeber test for stability and not always with Furmark..try with games and normal use that you do.
