is a gtx 680 2 Gb good enough too run
at 2560 × 1440 144 Hz resolution with gsync enabled

i play bf4 and skyrim and i plan on playing far cry 4 gta v bf hardline
i would prefer to play ultra but high is fine too

And i would rather wait with buying a new gpu and pc until early NeXT year when a gtx 880 comes out and i need to upgrade my entire pc anyway

any help or advice much apreciated and sry for my bad english

Well, the GFX card should be perfectly fine since a major youtuber uses it for a tri-screen + recording on all modern games and 120hz. You'll be fine.

Also, I'd recommend the 760 or 770 if it fits your budget. Otherwise, the 880 will most likely be around $700-900

The 680 definitely will not get 144 fps to make use of the 144 hertz @ 2560 x 1440. At most it will get 80-90 fps on high on those games. Not even an 780ti can do that. Maybe the 880 can but i wouldnt count on it. Your best bet to get 144 fps is SLI

In case you didn't know, the GTX 770 is the same card as the GTX 680, except it's faster, cooler, and 200$ less.

Here are some FPS results for single GTX 770 on 1440p.

Note that average FPS is not as important as minimum FPS, especially if you play games online. For multiplayer BF 4 and similar you will need a faster CPU and probably want to drop the graphic settings to medium/high on a single GTX 770.
