Before everyones hates me for having a macbook, I am actually saving up for my own PC build, but for now I have a question about my mac, so bare with me.

Sometimes when I am running things on my macbook that are kind of intense, I get temperatures in the 90-100 degree celsius range. I average about 80 running games and whatnot. I have started using Fan Control, but sometimes even when my fan is at max, my CPU will go up to the 90s, while everything else goes up to 70s. It's crazy. Does anyone know a fix?

Hey thanks for the comment. I have tried to do this and it did fix performance slightly. It turned out my fan was caught and it hadn't been running for about a year. It still has oddly high temperatures.

Hmmm.. yes those temperatures are very dangerous for your laptop. It could potentially damage internal components in the long-term. I'm not really sure what it could, sorry!

Since you don't have a dedicated GPU, I'm not quite sure why the computer is running at such high temperatures. :(

Yeah. No one seems to know what it is. I wonder if I could take it into a professional or something so they could look at it.

No offense to them, but they're not very good at it. Last time they just cleaned off my screen and deleted a few programs.
