PC's internet stopped working.

Okay, so today I moved my motherboard, everything from my old case to a new one to ce reate room for my new graphics card, I installed everything, everything is working fine except there's no internet connections, I'm rarely getting someone elses one bar connection, before I upgraded it the internet was fine.

I don't know what's happened, I haven't altered with anything, just moved everything over. My internet connection just wont show up. My connection is wireless and with Sky Broadband.

Also, the internet is working on my tablet and the laptop that I'm on now, so I don't see the problem.

Using a PCI wireless card? sometimes when plugging a PCI-E video card on the motherboard it disables certain PCI slots. You could try plugging the video card in the second PCI-E slot and check if the wifi card works?

I'm sure the wireless setting is built in to the motherboard, though.

If the wireless is built into the motherboard, you might want to check through the BIOS settings to see if it might have been disabled somehow.

Not really sure what you mean by components. And @G90814 I'm not 100% sure it's in the motherboard, and I don't know how to do these things. Kind of a newbie.

The wifi SOMETIMES finds my neighbors network, so the wifi works I think, if it's picking up a signal.

It could also be a driver's issue, have you tried reinstalling the drivers for the onboard wireless ethernet?

I'm kind of confused, I'm not sure how I reinstall them because I never installed them. When I bought my PC it was automatically wireless so this is really confusing my mind how it just stopped working...I've looked online everywhere

My PC>System properties> that should display the model of the motherboard, once you have that you can go to the manufacturer's website and download the latest drivers for the chipset, onboard audio and ethernet.

No model number is coming up, I'm on Windows 8 and I can't find it at all, and how am I meant to download it on my computer if there's no internet, will I need to transfer it? Is there any other way i can find the motherboard model number?

You could just open the case, the model of the motherboard is usually written on the board.

I have a little barcode on the motherboard, I guess that's it. It just says PCLDV0HD62ta9j, when I google that, nothing comes up whatsoever. Am I looking at the wrong thing?

Was your PC a custom OEM build or you built it yourself? (I think I should have asked that before)

It was a factory PC to begin with, I moved it in to a new case, upgraded the graphics cards etc. It's really frustrating.
