I want to remove a hard drive with a partition

I have two hard drives as well as a ssd and my 1 TB hard drive has a partition in my 285GB hard drive which i want to remove. can i remove the 285GB hard drive with the 1TB hard drive partition and have all my files left on my 1 tb?

I don't quite understand what you are looking to do here, or your setup. Do you 1 drive with 285 GB and another with 1TB? In that case you can remove the small one without affecting the 1TB. If you have a 1 TB drive with a 285GB partition and a second partition for the rest of the space (sounds more likely give the odd size) you could delete the small partition and then expand the other partition but you will loose all the files in the 285GB partition unless you copy or move them somewhere else first.

I want to remove the (D:) hard drive from my computer to use it on a different computer. i want to keep all the files on the (E:) hard drive but i don't care about (D:) as it will be formatted.
