specs
GPU: Nvidia GTX 760 SC 2gb
CPU: i5 4670k
RAM: 16gb 1600mhz
games: Far Cry 3. Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon, Batman Arkham Origins
Problem: getting low framerates on all settings when is should be able to maintain 60fps at ultra with MSAA turned off
Hypothesis: I had to come to my dad's house for the summer and i left my monitor at my Mom's house but took my PC with me to my Dad's, the monitor ive been using is vga only so ive been using a vga-dvi adapter but my pc recognizes the signal as vga. My guess is that the signals from my card are not reaching my monitor but i doubt thats the case. Even on my 1080p with dvi connection monitor ive been getting issues. How is it that i cant even get 60fps on low on a non 1080p monitor. at ultra with msaa turned off i can barely keep 20. Help!

i have the latest Nvidia drivers

Solution
You need to monitor temperatures, CPU usage and GPU usage while gaming to help us diagnose this.

What are your framerates like if you play on high instead of ultra?

I'm serious about the how did you transport it thing. If the system was sitting right side up and your GPU's weight went against your motherboard PDC in the road (such as hitting a bumb) you could have gained some damage. It's just a possibility.

the issue started before the transportation, i did have it intact though. How can i check for physical damage like that.
