Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-Z97X-Gaming 5 ATX LGA1150 132.78 euro

Yes the part will work together. If you are just going to game, you will have no purpose for i7 or 16 gb ram. I went a head and changed the parts. Went with much more powerful 290x, i5, 2400 mhz ram, Gene motherboard, and seasonic 750W.

I am almost positive you won't need the i7, the i5k model should suffice for gaming with no noticeable performance difference.

You probably can find a cheaper motherboard that accomplishes the same task (usually $100-120 US is the sweet spot for a z97 mobo) Off the top of my head the ASRock pro3/4 is reputable and I've personally used them.

And I personally would not want to trust my system to that CS series power supply, they are particularly suspect under heavy load, which your build will put it under. This would be the strongest suggested change, you don't want a PSU to fry your whole system, spend the extra $30-40 for a quality unit.

Also, 16gb of ram is overkill if you are just gaming. You can get 8gb now and add more if it ever becomes a problem. Also- 2666 seems like an insane speed, you will probably need to fiddle in the CAS timings some to get the ram stable at that frequency. If that doesn't sound like something you want to do, I'd suggest 1600/1800 speeds that will be stable out of box.

Overall a good build, aside from that PSU, but you probably can trim a hundred Euros or so. Could funnel that money into a better PSU and possibly a better GPU (I'd bet you can fit an AMD 290 or 290x)

Yea this build is superior to the OP's build. Nice build sir! although that mobo does look a little expensive still, that's being nit picky. And again, will probably take a little playing with CAS latencies to get that ram stable at 2600. So knock it down a few pegs if that isn't something you want to do, it is going to default to 1600 most likely.

Hi ak47jar3d,

The i7 4790K ill stick with that since I won't need to upgrade cpu later on.
Graphics card Radeon R9 290X 4GB hmm yea sounds good but im aiming for nvidia so I stick with 770 4gb WindForce it keeps the video card cool and quiet and uses less power. Thats why im using intel and nvidia components.

Corsair since I have read on forums is better then Kingston .
16 gb no need have you played Ksp 64x moded with 8x texture mod +few other mods eats ram like that.I like my games moded and GTA V coming on Pc I will need 16 gb. :pt1cable: just for mods.
Also I noticed that your comparing prices in http://uk.pcpartpicker.com but i use http://www.hardwareversand.de and http://geizhals.de

Pounds vs euro pound is higher than euro.

The i5 model he suggested is going to be relevant for gaming for as long as the i7 would be. The advantages of the i7 over i5 are not really utilized in gaming (Hyper threading).

Additionally a 3rd party cooler design for the 290x would give you comparable temps to the 770, and it is absolutely a superior card. You are comparing an upper midrange card against a flagship model, it will be a very noticeable performance difference. As far as power concerns, I would doubt you'd notice the difference on your electric bill.

Really should consider a different PSU though, I will mention that again since I feel strongly about it. Don't trust your 1000Euro machine to a below average PSU.

Thanks for advice stokes 1790 but ill go for 7
I7 4790k and gtx 770 4gb I know so e people gona say 4gb is overkill but I like my games moded and maxed out + I won't be changing my graphics card for some time.

So I wanted to ask about motherboard I'll be using z97 but which one is cheap and good ? Also ram 16 gb is my minimum later I will max it out to 32gb so what ram should I go for Corsair or G.Skill ?

You might be right. But I pressed by misstake I see if i can get help from moderator and change best answer.

I also want to hear other peoples thought about this build. :)

Also I want Z97 since is the best motherboard, after few months theres probobly gona be other better ones so I stick with this one since it supports 4th gen i7 and latest video cards. Because after 1-2 years I will have to upgrade it to better one 880 or even 9xx

FROM USA CANNOT BE IMPORTED BECAUSE IMPORT CHARGES APPLYto Ireland SO I have to order from theh ttp://www.hardwareversand.de and use discount from http://geizhals.de
