Was upgrading my GPU from Sapphire Radeon X1950XTX to Sapphire R9 270X (2GB OC edition) and had problems with Vista 32bit recognising the card. The drivers wouldn't install so I tried reseating the card and now the system won't boot. No BIOS screen, no beeps. Fans spin etc. Have installed both 6pin PCI-E cables the card requires. Tried reseating again and no luck. Also tried putting my old graphics card back in and it still doesn't boot. No output on onboard vga either. Made sure I was grounded with a wrist strap. Not sure if my motherboard is broken now. Any help would be appreciated. My spec is as follows:
Biostar G41D3+
Intel Core2Quad Q8300
8GB DDR3 RAM
Atrix 720W PSU (80plus) (720the)
Sapphire R9 270X 2GB DDR5 OC edition
Two hard drives installed and one DVD-RW
Vista SP2 32bit

Does your motheboard have integrated video? If it does have you tried using that option? If not I would suggest trying to remove and reinsert the ram modules, (that worked for me once) if not then try reseting your bios.
