how to convert 32bit to 64bit windows 8.1

i have installed 6 GB ram in my pc :-
i have windows 8.1 pro 32bit installed in my pc.......................I have 64 bit based processor i want to install windows 8.1 pro 64bit to windows 8.1 pro 32bit so that my full 6gb of ram can be used (now only 2.99 gb) SO HOW TO INSTALL WINDOWS 8.1 PRO 64 BIT ON WINDOWS 8.1 PRO 32 BIT

You have to change your boot priority in your bios to boot from your pendrive first, and after it is done...

Did you buy a retail version of windows? If so you should have two disks, one 32bit and one 64bit. You can't "upgrade" from one version to the other without reinstalling Windows.

If you don't have a 64 bit disk, you can borrow a friends Win 8.1 pro 64 bit disk and just use the key from your 32 bit version. They have to be the exact same version of windows to do this. If one is pro and the other is home, it won't work.

I have a disk image file in my pc, i made a bootable pendrive and tried to install windows but the windows icon imerges and compurer restarts automatically..................so how can i install it

You have to change your boot priority in your bios to boot from your pendrive first, and after it is done installing you have to switch the first boot device back to your C: drive/hard drive.

Thank u i have installed 64 bit Windows but now My 4gb ram is not working........when ever i put that ram with my 2gb ram or without it my computer stops at windows logo and restarts it self..................... my 4gb ram was working with 32bit Although it was not fully readabil but it was working...............and now it is not
I HAVE UPDATED ALL DRIVERS

hello
I got the installing problem in my laptop.Currently i have windows 8.1 pro 32.bit in my laptop.I want to change it to 64 bit .But while try to change it the message"to find the version of your pc check with the software publisher" comes.What can i do ?or I have to instal any version of 64 bit to the laptop and try it for windows 8.1 64 -bit ....or .what...
