More about convert 32bit 64bit windows
  1. You have to re-install Windows and choose 64-bit.
  2. Sadly you can't do such thing on the fly
  3. and your apps will need to be reinstalled.
  4. Did you buy a retail version of windows? If so you should have two disks, one 32bit and one 64bit. You can't "upgrade" from one version to the other without reinstalling Windows.

If you don't have a 64 bit disk, you can borrow a friends Win 8.1 pro 64 bit disk and just use the key from your 32 bit version. They have to be the exact same version of windows to do this. If one is pro and the other is home, it won't work.
  5. There is no way to upgrade or convert. You have to do a clean install of 64 bit Windows.

You have to change your boot priority in your bios to boot from your pendrive first, and after it is done installing you have to switch the first boot device back to your C: drive/hard drive.

  9. You should always use matched ram sizes, speed, timings, voltage, and in most cases brand as well. If not then expect many issues.
