Hi, i'm having trouble with my Asus MB as you see in the title.
When i try to start my PC, it won't start up / display anything and the Q code or Error code "23" shows up on the little LED screen on the MotherBoard.

I read that it was due to failed overclocking, which i thought it was at first because it did say "overclocking failed" once or twice when i finally got it to start up.
I reset the CMOS as instructed twice. It works the first time but then it's stuck again.
I've also tried to move the RAM, which gave no effect, in addition to replug the SATA cables if that was the issue.

The PC will start up after a few reboots, but i can't get into the BIOS to change anything.

Are there any solutions to this? I can't seem to find any case like mine :(

Sorry for all the text, i appreciate all help i can get my hands on.

Rig is as follows:

i7 4770K
Noctua UH14S CPU cooler
Asus Maximus VI Hero MB
Nvidia GTX 780Ti
512GB Samsung 840 EVO SSD
1TB WD Caviar Blue @ 7200 RPM

I really don't want to take apart the PC, as i have no more thermal compound and that i feel uncomfortable applying it in the first place. However i will check for any burn, contact with capacitators etc.

Today it actually turned on and started up normally while skipping BIOS and went directly to the login screen. Fixed? Will still check as i said.

Will leave an update soon.

Okay, so i pulled out all the wires/cables and took out the GPU and a RAM stick so that only one remained and then i reset the CMOS. After that i plugged everything back together

It worked with the onboard graphics and i got access to the BIOS. When i tried with the GPU inserted, it didn't work the first time but then i rebooted and i could access the BIOS again.

I disabled the onboard gpu (iGPU) and after that things went smooth.

So yeah, taking everything out and putting it back together worked like a charm

Okay, now i've encountered the same Error again. This keeps happening and this time around it said: "overclocking failed" and i didn't even overclock a bit. Other than that one time, QCode 23 just keeps popping up.

Help?
