For 900 dollars go with an i5 4690 or something. AMD is not even comparable to i5. Maybe get Corsair Vengence RAM instead of Gskill. I would recommend an 840 EVO SSD instead of the one you have now. Go with an EVGA PSU or supply or something better than what you have.

wow thanks for your opinions guys. i actually have an evga 850w psu in my build right now and with a 10 year warranty its been really good. Shneiky i do like your build but 1. it has to include an os so that would make it $1000 and 2. a 2gb gtx 770 vs. 3gb r9 280x i see you get better graphics with the r9, but i could be wrong. i only chose the ssd because it was 250gb so i didnt need the extra storage at the moment. ( maybe i should have put that it will mostly be playing battlefield 4) thanks again for your input guys.
