I just built my first gaming pc. When I power on the blue led fan at the back lights up, and so does the green led on the mobo. But when I try to plug it into my tv using vga (there's one dvi to vga adaptor on the computer coming from the tv. Is this the problem?) all I get is a black screen and a message saying no input detected. It's the same when I only use the dvi-vga adaptor on the computer and plug it into an old monitor with vga, only no message on the monitor. Can somebody please help? My specs are as follows:

Msi geforce gtx 760 oc edition

Asus m5a97 r2.0

Amd fx-8320

Corsair cx750

Sandisk 128gb ssd.

Thanks!
