Are there any flaws in this potential system?

I've put this together for a gaming and just general use PC. I want to be able to play new games at high settings, hence the CPU and GPU, but I was wondering if there were any recommendations for alternate parts.

I already have an optical drive and operating system to use with it, I will add more storage drives from my old PC too.

Thanks for looking over it,

AMD CPUs are nearly a half-decade out of date, and I cannot recommend them except in low, low budget builds. Intel CPUs are faster, more efficient, and actually provide an upgrade path.

Hope that helps! :)

Solution
both are nice systems however both have a ''flaw''. that power supply is mediocre at best and low watt for systems with R9 290 and such great overclocking potential! moreover you will need a haswell compatible psu for the intel build! for the same money you can get this stronger, better quality and haswel compatilble! it isnt modular though!
