what is a good gaming router?

Hello so recently I started to notice my ping in some games it goes from 130 to 400 m/s so I guessed that this problem is from my router if no plz correct me if yes can you plz tell me a good gaming router that's not expensive and lag free, because most of the routers are really expensive thanks for any help in advance

I have used a ton of routers in my time and i can tell you this, You really get what you pay for. First make sure you have sufficient Speeds from your ISP and it is not that is causing it

Well The netgear i use has been great and i think the nighthawk is one of the top rated gaming routers out there, however it carries a price tag.

For budget purposes this router gets pretty good reviews for the price and for gaming
