Hi

First off, to mods: This is a computer build problem I want help with so feel free to move the thread, I put it where i felt it most logical.

The build
Motherboard:......Gigabyte GA-H87M-D3H LGA1150 mATX
CPU:..................Intel i5-4590S 3.0GHz LGA1150
Memory:.............G.SKILL 8GB 2133MHZ DDR3 RIPJAWSX
PSU:..................BeQuiet Pure Power L8 500W
Graphics:............Gigabyte Geforce GTX660
SSD:..................Sandisk Ultra Plus 256GB + Sandisk Extreme II 240GB
Case:.................Aerocool DS Cube

I've worked with building computers all my life, though definitely not as long as most of you here. That being said I know how to build a computer, I'm not new to this. I've encountered a lot of different problems and heard of the rest. But this got me perplexed. So to my story:

Of course as soon as i got them I put together all the parts inside the case, giggling and smelling every single one of them as I went about it. I take my time, looking closely on all the details of the cards. This is my thing you know. Anyways, everything put together, all cables correctly connected. Closing up. AC cord connected.

The Problem
It starts!... 2 seconds later it shuts down. Another 2 seconds and it starts up automatically and again shuts down 2 seconds later. The loop goes on and on.

First I figured the PSU was faulty, but it started my other working computer just fine. Did a lot of the usual troubleshooting: removing/reseating battery, checking for bended pins, switching around RAM modules, tried my functioning modules, jumpstarting out of the case with only essential parts; mobo, CPU, RAM and PSU, using another PSU. After a bit research on these forums and googling it, everything pointed to either a faulty MOBO or CPU, and given how rare the chances are for a DOA CPU I got the mobo RMAd.

Probably you have already guessed it didn't solve it for me. Correct

So I sent back the CPU for testing and got the answer that it was INDEED faulty. Finally! I thought.. New CPU shipped, got it today. I started with the bare setup mobo/cpu/ram/psu out of the case, this time too afraid to be optimistic, aaaand no. Same loop over and over.

Having 2 working Mobos, once again I tested everything mentioned above using each of the mobos. Although I did ONE thing different this time.. I connected the speaker. Was hoping for a beep of some kind to give me a clue of what to do next. Instead I get.. "clicks". Is this normal? Ive never heard a clicking sound starting a computer. Its 2 clicks starting it up, 1 click when it shuts off 2 seconds later. I have a video of it all where its very noticeable, that I can upload for you, would it be requested.

So what do you think?

I have tried both of the new modules, 1 lone, and modules from my current working build, in different slot, in both dual and single channel. I've also tried without any module. The symptoms is exactly the same.

I doubt this has anything to do with RAM. And it is not a "cable not corectly plugged in"-type of problem. If CPUs did not have such low chance of being DOA, I would guess this new CPU is also faulty. Then again there is a chance the new mobo I got actually could be DOA. Unfortunately I dont have any other mobo to try the CPU with.

Most of all I would like some ideas about the clicking sound the mobo speaker gives.
