Amazing FX-6300 oc?

Hey guys I wodner if my oc seems ``normal`` my fx-6300 vid is only 1.15 is that normal

?

I've been reading posts here about oc'ing fx-6300 ppl been getting 4,5 ghz with 1.3-1.4 voltage

and... I'm running atm 4,42 GHz x6 with only 1.21 voltage - am I lucky

?

27 min, 45 max it says on left image.

Run Prime95 for 20 mins and see what the max temp is, if no crashing or screen flickering then the OC is stable and good, though it is not considered amazing.

better run prime for at least 4-8hrs i had an fx6300 and i was oc to 4.5 at 1.45v and i thought i was good also at your voltage but you need to give prime a longer run sometimes problems wont occur until 2-3hrs

most of the time 20 mins is all it takes, if you wish to absolutely confirm run your PC overnight under full strain, though if you have a poor power supply don't do it.

that was when i first got into overclocking trust me im good now but if that the case i bet that fx you got can hit 5ghz

5GHz is certainly possible with the right board/PSU and CPU cooler, but not all CPU's have the same OC ability, some are poor and some are excellent, it's the luck of the draw really. Some CPU's can cap out at small overclocks, just depends on what you get.

Oh I pasted 5ghz with my 8320 my highest is 5.24 I do 4.9daily I'm saying this guy has a good 6300
