Chassis Fan to CPU Fan 2 - MSI Gaming 5

Hello people, I was wondering if I could connect one of the chassis fans to CPU Fan 2 header, since this mobo comes with two and I only be needing one. I know I also have system fans headers for chassis fans but it only comes with three I still have one fan left without power, I'm gonna use 4 case fans in total. Also if I can do this do I have to or can I reconfigure this CPU Fan 2 header via Bios or something to work as a chassis fan, or I just plug it in and hope for the best? Thanks in advance!

You can no problem. I would hookup whatever fan is near the back case exhausting out to the cpu2 header. That way if the CPU gets hot and the MB ramps up the CPU fan, the back fan will ramp up to the same timing and speed and help exhaust the extra air the CPU fan is pushing out.
