Hello, I have a 1.0tb WDBACX0010BBK-01 and my mother formatted it on a smart tv. The unit still shows up in devices on my computer, but not as a drive. I need to install the software back on it so I can start using it again. It was completely wiped. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do. It is about 3 years old.

go to control panel, administration tools, computer management and scroll down to disk manager. you should see it in there, and then be able to right click and delete any partitions on it and create a new one and format it and be able to use it again.
