You can most games on this card on lower setting but you should look for something a bit more futureproof, games like CoD:AW, BF4; upcoming games like BO:AK, even AC:Unity will give you trouble on this card.

The 5570 is 3 generations old now, why not get the HD6570 or the HD6670?

You can play anything you want at low resolution and low graphics.. but AC: black flag will lag a lot

Firstly, you can overclock the card but I don't think it will improve the performance much.

And then, you can perhaps invest in the ram?

Remember to update your gfx drivers regularly, they will save you a lot of trouble.

Use the updates and patches of the games.

Look, there's nothing to worry about; do these things (at least the update part) and you will be able to play most games if you sacrifice graphics.

There are softwares like AMD Overdrive and MSI Afterburner which helps you overclock the gfx card.

Although I would ask you to be very, very careful otherwise you can damage your card permanently.

Check the stability of the core clock and the memory clock while you are adjusting them.

Monitor the temperature; if it constantly rises above 65, you should turn the dial down immediately.

You wouldn't get much performance boost even if you manage to OC it, may be 10% at most.

I would rather you start saving money and invest in a better card in future.

And if you don't feel confident enough to OC your card then don't. No point in damaging the card while it can still meet your demands for now.
