How much heat can a ssd harddrive handle

Because my friends computer gets very hot When he is gaming so we just Want to make sure we dont kill the ssd

What part of the computer? The CPU or GPU temp has little to do with the rest of the case.

I think it very unlikely you'll kill the SSD... BUT make sure you have proper case cooling etc - u should be getting your heat out of your case efficiently for the long term good of all your components

As long as you've got sufficient ventilation throughout the case (I recommend front intake, side intake, and then rear and top exhaust), even if the CPU and GPU get fairly hot it shouldn't be anywhere close to hot enough to kill an SSD, or any of your drives for that matter.
