Should I go Water or Air cooling?

I have a Corsair 230t case and I need to cool an i7 4790k also I would like as little noise as possible.
Should i go with Water or Air Cooling?
I was thinking with going Noctua NH-U12P SE2, Noctua NH-U12S or Cooler Master V8 GTS for Air cooling and something like a Corsair h75 for water cooling.
Will the corsair one perform any better or should I get just get the air cooler in that case which one?

I would grab something like the NH-D14, or the phanteks PH-TC14pe.
They are large yes, but they perform on par if not better than most 240mm liquid coolers, but are much quieter in doing so.

If you don't have much knowledge about Water Cooling I wouldn't recommend it also Air Cooling is much safer option

Water cooling for that behemoth would be best. The 4790k doesn't get as hot as the 4770k but still puts out some good heat. Also I would recommend trying to go for an H100i. The H75 only has a 120mm and it isnt that thick so it cant dissipate as much heat as the thick 240mm H100i

Noctua D-14. It will be quieter than a comparable AIO water cooler and will have no issues cooling an overclocked 4790k.

NH-D14 looks huge, will it fit my Corsair 230t? im only using low profile ram.

Ok, so the another question that i have is what is the difference between Noctua NH-D14 and Noctua NH-D14 SE2011? Nuctua NH-D14 is cheaper and they look the same.

The only difference is the SE is Socket edition 2011. It only works on 2011 sockets.

Ok got it, thank you i guess im going with the Noctua NH-D14.
I hope it fits well into my Msi z97 gaming 3 and corsair 230t, and I hope my system will be silent, cool and my mobo won't brake in half because of how huge it is.
