Hello,
So, I just turned on my PC from a blue screen after leaving it idle for 10-15 minutes for dinner. This also happened yesterday and last week. I'm sure that there is a problem with my display drivers, since the blue screen tells me atikmpag.sys has a problem or something. My GPU is an AMD Radeon HD 77- I'm not sure what it is. I bought this as a HD 7730 but it seems that it has the specs of a 7750 DDR3. Windows, Speccy, Dxdiag and GPU-Z all read it as Radeon HD 7700 Series, not specifying the model. Here's the GPU-Z screenshot:

Anyway, I'm running the latest available Catalyst drivers for Vista 32-bit but I'm still getting these crashes occasionally. The weird thing is, that these crashes never happen during gaming, only when the PC has idled for a while. Any help? Also confirmation on what my GPU is would also help.

EDIT: Also wanted to tell that this didn't happen last month, when I bought the card, it has just started happening the previous week.

Try this.
First of all you need to TOTALLY remove all the old drivers. Use this link.

Note:
Select the respective company(i.e Nvidia or ATI) drivers to be uninstalled.
Use clean and restart option.
And then install the new drivers after rebooting.

Are you sure it's being caused by corrupted drivers? I don't think it would need a complete removal and reinstall as it didn't have any problems before with this driver.

Try, as it has solved problems faced by many.

Well, I just reinstalled them and it seems fine for now. I'll come back if the blue screen problem persists.
