Hey there everyone !

I'm playing a game called APB:Reloaded , there's a command in this name which shows Ping , packet losses , So from like 3 days i've been getting weird packet losses that didn't happen before , It's like hoping to 10 back to 0 and again all the time .. which makes my game pretty unplayable . BTW this issue is only happening to me cause everyone seem to play normally ..

Another issue with my download speed , Although speedtest.net and ISP confirms that i'm getting my full speed but my download speed seems to be slow ( 100-150kb/s ) with a 3mb connection ( should be getting like 350kb/s as usual )

I've already contacted my ISP about the issue and they told me that you're already got the full speed and they have no online gaming experts ..

Already tried restarting my router , unpluging everything etc ..

Any suggestions to resolve this issue ? because it's a pretty frustrating experience ..

Thanks in advance ! :)

& sorry for my lame english :/

I do not know if you are connecting to a wireless router prior to your isp connection device but, if only your computer is dropping packets the next thing to check would be cables if this is a Ethernet connection. If you know how you could try using the ping command in cmd (you can use the ping ? command and figure out the parameters to do an extended ping) to see if that particular pc may have connectivity issues. If you find that after using the ping command that you are still dropping packets then, I am sure that it is either a weak wireless signal, problem with an Ethernet cable, or possibly a problem with your network interface card.

Hey there thanks for your answer !

But unfortunately i'm not using a wireless network , getting my phone cable directly connected to my router then to my computer , I've a pretty basic knowledge about networking , What website or IP i should try to ping to ? Well anyways i'll post my tracert that i've already done to my game's server .
Tracing route to 173.195.41.254 over a maximum of 30 hops

Trace complete.

BTW there's no problem to that huge hop ( 136ms ) i'm just far from the server i'm playing on , and i was playing this game fine for 1 year already

Ok i see, you have a Router and Modem in one. Which in my opinion are a really bad combo I would prefer a seperate router and modem on their own. Did you buy this modem/router or was it given to you by your ISP?

Yes i know, but this is the catch. ISP's do this purposly and give you a modem/router because they want to have acess to what you have been doing and your bandwith AKA how much internet you've been using like downloading movies or games. So have you been downloading stuff becuase if thats the case your ISP might of slowen your internet down because you've been using too much of bandwith.

Mmm i dont guess so because my speedtest shows that i'm getting my normal speed That confuses me A LOT !
Even my youtube videos seem to auto change quality to 240p cause of my slow connection ..

BTW when i contacted my ISP they told me that your line is getting full speed and there's no issue at the connection ..

Than i would say disable the wifi function in the modem/router. and get a separate router. Or your router/modem is wearing out. Because you said your ISP ran a test and your speeds are coming through so I think it's the router function .

Well i've an update on my topic :)
I'm getting packet losses to ANY SERVER i'm trying to ping , So i made a tracert ,
The issue was in the second hop ( which goes to my isp afaik because it gives out 15ms ping ) Although 15ms is not high but i keep getting :
Request timed out
And that gives me 10-13% packet losses so here's my issue ..
I tried pinging that address in online ping tools and it gave no packet losses so idk what to do , Can i change something on my side to fix this issue ?
