BACKGROUND:
My name is Devin, I currently own a three year old Alienware desktop and its not performing to my standards and i'm ready for a new system. I am not making the mistake of going to Alienware again. I plan to build my own system this time. I have done a decent amount of research by myself and have seen many computers built. I would just like second opinions to make sure when all this arrives at my home it will go together and work correctly.

MAIN:
This is my build so far: http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx...

Can someone with higher than average knowledge of computers please check to make sure I have covered everything I need and everything is compatible?

Ignore the mouse and also i don't have monitors and other things like that because i already own some.

More about : builder correct

some issues:

PSU is not the best quality and WAY overkill. An XFX 550 or XFX650 would be way more ideal.
You should be getting a haswell refresh CPU like the 4460.
Get RAM with low profile heat sinks.
Drop the CPU cooler as you will not be overclocking that CPU
Get an h97 board as you will not be overclocking.
Get windows 8.1 as it is simply better in every way including gaming.

Okay first of all: Use PCPartPicker.com instead of the newegg wishlist. It will not only be more organized, but it will help with compatibility.

CASE: The 350D is a great mATX so great job.

Motherboard: I recommend the Asus Z97-A instead of what you picked, but it's pretty good.

GPU: Good. I have that in my build, it will do AMAZINGLY compared to whatever alienware had.

CPU: It's fine. I recommend going with 4590 instead.

PSU: EVGA is a better PSU.

SSD: You definitely picked the right one. 840 EVOs are great SSDs.

RAM: Great. Don't have anything to say about it. It's what I personally pick.

HDD: Go Seagate 1TB vs WD 1TB.

Mouse: If you're into MMOs, go for it.

Disc Drive: Go Asus instead of the company you did.

OS: Go Windows 8.1 instead of 7. It's more updated.

I don't really think you need liquid cooling, but good choice in the h60.

Fan: I don't know much about fans. Looks fine.

Edit: I'm stupid. The Z97-A Motherboard is not mATX. Stay with your motherboard.

heres some problems.

first rm series is not a good psu. i would suggest a evga 750w 10yr warranty and quality is hard to beat.
then get a i5 4590 for that price if your not overclocking. If overclocking get a i5 4690k and a cheap hyper evo 212
keep the z97 mobo in case you get a overclockable cpu in the future with the broadwell chips.
looks pretty good from their
get windows 8 fast boot times even on a hdd(3 second load on a ssd) and will be more supported also you might get a discount on windows 9

The RAM and PSU are not ideal, Byte70. The RAM has high heatsinks which are not good, and the PSU is not good quality. Also, why recommend a z97 board with a non-overclocking CPU. He should be getting an h97 motherboard.

He also has no use for the h60 as he is not overclocking.

Everything is compatible and it will run though?

well he could upgrade to broadwell and could get a overclockable cpu or just get one right now.
if he got a h97 he wouldnt be able to get a overclockable cpu.

I guess technically yes it is, it is just not an ideal build for the money.

Drop the cooler and it looks good. That PSU is overkill, but whatever.
