Is there any reason for this to bsod? I have it stable at 70 degrees on full load but I'm afraid it may fail, my chip has bsod at 4.4 on 1.15v so I though i'd try upping the v and processing power respectively.

Specs:

i7 4790k
GTX 780
8gb Corsair Vengeance RAM
750w corsair psu
MSI Z87 GD65 Mobo
and a H105 cooling the cpu :)

of course 4.4 does not work at 1.15v. You dont increase both voltage and ghz. You increase voltage only. Dont go above 1.3 volts you may burn your chip.
try 4.4ghz @ 1.2v and increase the voltage by .125 every time your cpu crashes.

Great, nice one thanks. Just out of interest though, what is your ideal temp for 4.6Ghz?
