Suggestions for my build please?

Solution
I hope the case is fine. I went with functionality over aesthetics. While this build is not overclockable, the i5-4670 will beat any AMD (overclocked or not) CPU in terms of gaming prowess per your budget. I also upgraded the GPU to a R9 280X. Added in a SSD. The SSD won't improve gameplay, but it will make your overall experience so much more awesome.

The only preference I have is that I would like my case to be sleek and flashy, otherwise I have no preferences

Two things that will save some cash and wont hurt the performance.
1. no need for 2133 RAM, 1600 is great for gaming.
2. Get the R9 280, $200, and OC it and it will be the same as the X version but $60 bucks cheaper.

Not true. Those changes will affect performance.

1. Upgrades between 1600 - 1866 and 1866 - 2133 EACH will yield on average 2-4 FPS increase. So 1600 - 2133 can be between 4-8 FPS. It depends on the game how great the increase is, if any. If you can find a cheaper pair of memory for the price/performance, please post one up. The one that I posted up is pretty much cheap as is. Also, the original poster never mentioned that this build is strictly for gaming. You just made that assumption.

2. If you are going to compare R9 280 OC vs R9 280X, then eh. But then R9 280X OC will trump a R9 280 OC.

1. 4-8 FPS? Not worth paying an extra $30-$40

2. Also paying more for a very small performance upgrade.

1. Again, if you know of a cheaper pair, post it up. Don't say that it's an extra $30-$40 when you haven't posted a better set.
2. I'm not going to re-argue against it. I already made my point. Comparing an OC card vs a non-OC card is a total pointless argument.
