My problem is I got a Kingston SSD, I ended up downloading Ease Us todo backup tool so I could clone my OS to the SSD. Though when I open up the clone button the SSD is not recognized... Please help, I've spent good money on it and do not wish to return it.

Did you do a quick format of the SSD before you attempted to clone the HDD?

Hi, I'm Jewel with Kingston Technical Support and would like to offer our assistance. The first thing to check is to see if your system in general is recognizing the SSD. In Windows go to Disk Management, found in Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Computer Management. If the drive is listed here with unallocated space than we know that it is working. If it is offline, then right-click and select to initialize the drive as an MBR disk then the software should be able to recognized it. If this is not the issue or for any other further assistance, please call us at 1-800-435-0640 (USA and Canada only) M - F 6am - 6pm PT and I or another available Technician will assist you.

Thank you for selecting Kingston as your upgrade partner.
