Hi.I tried to OC my cpu but after 10 mins or so of small fft's(Prime 95) one of my worker failed.Im interested in how to fix that since i'm new to OC'ing.Should i bump my vcore or what? And 1 more thing, are these temps normal Cpu goes to 57 but package(cpu core) only 35^^
Motherboard:Asus M5A97 r2.0 bios 2501(latest)
Cpu:Amd FX 8120

these are normal temps do not worry. As for what to do, it is unclear. by worker do you mean that one of the prime 95 test failed ? because prime 95 is simply a calculator trying to find as more mersenne prime numbers (a mersenne prime is a prime number which value is one less than a power of 2. 3 is one less de 2², 7 is one less than 2³). So an operator failing does not indicate a core failing.

Thank You for your response. So if a worker fails that's not necessarily a bad thing?I didn't go far on OC?By worker i mean 7th(8th) core stopped priming :D.I think i'm getting the hang on it,will explore some more and if i run into any bumps i will ask again. Thanks
