I5 3330 max safe temp

my room has 2 fans one ceiling one box averag temp 80'f "3 pc's in there" my temps are going as high as 72'c on 3 out of 4 cores intel's website says the max temp is 67.4'c im using a cool master heat sink i hear people run them as hot as 90'c ive ran prime for a hour reached 78'c no shut down and no down clocking by what cpu z says btw im using core temp. so my idel is 31-34'c my load is no higher then 72'c under my normal use so gaming so are my temps ok?

asus p8 z77-vlx mobo
gtx 650 2gb
8gbs ram 1600mhz
450watt psu
2hdd's
1dvd rom
4fans x2 120mm and x2 90mm

ps if you see something i should upgrade plz let me know im 16 dont have a lot of $$$ but i still find nice parts for cheap example this pc was given to me free its old mobo was dead heat sink covered in tar from the old owners smoking habits but i say it cleaned up nice all i know about the heatsink is its coolmaster lowest modle that has 3 heat pipes thats like 80mm or 90mm by 80 or 90mms

Are you overclocking at all? If not, your temps seem a bit high, but nothing to be too concerned about. Make sure you've cleaned any dust out of your case and all that type of stuff. A good suggestion for budget coolers is the Hyper 212 evo. It's pretty cheap and a solid choice overall.

Which Cooler Master heat sink are you using? They actually make some that are worse than the bundled cooler.

I have a hyper 212 evo already and no overclocking at all but I cleaned the tar off of the heat sink so I don't know what to do
What is the shut down temp of a i5 3330 not a k series so no overclocking

That "tar" is called thermal paste, and it's essential to have some on your CPU to help transfer heat from the CPU to the heatsink itself. If you removed it, the Hyper 212 evo should have come with some. Only use a small pee sized dot in the center of your CPU before mounting your 212 evo.

I use thermal paist an the tar I'm taking about was on the fins behind the fan not were the connection to the cpu is made I'm looking for my h100i lga 1155 adapter now to use I'll just go with water cooling
