I have no idea where this would go but I was trying to open the corsair pump. I succeeded in that but there was liquid in the pump. The pump isn't working and I was trying to figure out what was wrong. The loop is a corsair h55.I have two questions, how would I refill the loop, and how do I properly dry my motherboard and Amd CPU socket?
Any help would be appreciated. Also I'm wondering what the liquid in the loop was it had an odd smell.:)

You'd have to ask Corsair about the liquid.

Why did you want to open the pump? If it wasn't working you could've RMA'd it. It's no use putting it back together it the pump isn't working.

It might be easier and safer just to buy another H55.

You should take your motherboard out of the pc and sponge it down and remove the cpu. The let it dry out for at least a few days.

I don't know of any way to refill a CLC (Closed Loop Cooler). Bad idea to open it of course. I'm not sure you can re-fill it and close it back up and have it work. I've never opened one to be honest.

To clean your motherboard and CPU, buy a bottle of at least 90% (higher the better) isopropyl alcohol and some lint-free cloth. If you cannot find lint-free cloth, coffee filters can do the job. Damp the cloth, but do not drench it, and gently wipe off the solution. Leave the motherboard alone to air dry for at least a day before using it to make sure it is dry. I do not recommend that you try drying it with a dry cloth or try to be clever and speed it up with a blow dryer or basking it under the sun. It'll only make it worse.
