A few weeks ago I had to RMA a Corsair 750tx because it was not giving out the correct voltages. I got another one Corsair CX750m for Quakecon and it worked fine while I was there, I restored my overclocks for my graphics card and my CPU, I got it home this week it worked for 3 days and now is no longer giving out the correct voltages, the same thing my last PSU did. Do you guys think it's the power at my house (I live in the country, the power doesn't go out much no noticeable brownouts but a older house)do I need a UPS or is it my motherboard?

Asrock z68 Extreme 3 Gen 3
8gb G.Skill ram
750w Corsair
i5-2500k
Sapphire 7970 OC
Segate 2tb hd
500gb 2.5in hard drive
120gb SSD

edit:I got it working by unplugging some fans, I accidently left it on over night and now it's doing the same thing.

How are you measuring voltages?

I haven't done this, my video card doesn't give video when it's on my psu, but if I use a friend's psu it works perfectly so I just assumed it was the voltages. Also the video card works when I unplug my hard drive and disk drive.

the corsair cx series are pretty low end as far as quality goes.you may be on the right track re voltages.download something like occt to monitor your voltages.in the long run i think you may be looking at a better quality psu here.
