I have 2 PC's: 8.1 Wireless & a 7. Modem\Router combo. Motorola SBG6580. The 7 is connected via an Ethernet. I get constant internet outages with the message " your modem is disconnected etc. I tried all the fixes, rebooted, checked all wiring and even replaced all splitters inside and out. I have discovered at times after I turn off the 8.1 with no connection, I can connect to the internet on the 7. Could this be the root of the problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
