Hey all. So here is the issue. I just did a new build, with the following specs:
PSU: EVGA supernova PSU, 1000W --> http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438013
Graphics card: GeForce GTX 780 ti
Processor: Intel i7-4790 Haswell Quad core 4.0 Ghz --> http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819117369
Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-Z97X-UD5H-BK --> http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128722
Whenever I run a windows experience index, the computer just automatically turns off, like someone disconnected the power, and then restarts. I tried this twice, with the same results, and on the second time (after a reboot) the graphics card showed an error 43 malfunction on device manager. I'm thinking about RMA'ing that.
So I took out the graphics card and tried with the built in graphics. No error 43 this time on any of the components, but the same problem with the index occurs.
I did a fair bit of research on the PSU, which seems to be the root cause of problems similar to this. It should supply more than enough power for all my components (1000w). It also has really solid reviews from several places. I'm also relatively new to this, so i'd appreciate any advice you guys could offer on this issue. Thanks.
