formating c drive/ windows

if I format my windows (kept in the c drive ) will all my installations and games be lost?

can I reinstall all legitly bought games? and softwares?

first - this thread is in the wrong place...

formatting deletes EVERYTHING - and you don't format windows, you format a drive

yes you then install software after formatting and after installing an operating system like windows

No D drive is not affected
but C will have all data erased

formatting C partition does not affect D partition

formatting C drive will affect all partitions on the physical disk

You can install 8 over 7. But if you format you will lose any games on your C drive!
