Hi i was thinking about buying a new graphics card and was wondering would it be a good idea to buy a evga GTX780 with 6GB and 385 Bit or would the evga GTX 780 Classified with 3GB 385 Bit? they both have GDDR 5. What i want to know is which one would be better for me to buy and why?

it is 384-Bit. Stick with the 3GB Classifield, the 6GB model will offer you little to no help, even in current SLI setups.

That is my reason and it will save you money.

3GB is more than enough for one 1080p or 1440p monitor. Buy the cheapest.

Yes it is. Is it also true that people buy the 6GB 384 card for heavy modding of video games to play on desktops?

I was also wondering is it also a good idea to buy a refurbished Graphics Card or stay with a new one? Thank you.

You certainly won't need 6gb for that.

A 3GB 780 should be more than enough for you, 6GB if extreme resolutions across multiple monitors, and would suggest the Asus 780, OCs very well, runs cool, great cards (mine in sig)

There are pros and cons to each point, a refurbished card from a legit reseller like newegg etc. will have the card brought back to factory conditions, so they will only sell you it, if it meets the standards of the manufacturer, it's cheaper, and most of the time people send it back because they see a scratch, components might be loose or faults with the card so when they send it back they get it fixed, if you buy a refurbished one, it also comes with a warranty, I don't know how long it is, depends on your retailer, but the reason to buy a new one would be that it's new, and the knowledge that no one has touched the card before you :)
