Hi i was wondering what's the difference between a normal keyboard and mice versus a gaming keyboard and mice could someone please explain to me what's the difference? Thank you.

Most of the gaming keyboards are mechanical type, as the keys use spring type actuation to register an action whereas normal keyboards use rubber-dome .. Mechanical keyboards are proven to last for many years than the normal ones.. Also mechanical KBs have NKRO ("N" Keys Roll-Over) which means simultaneously many keys can be pressed together to work (in games like FIFA) whereas in normal keyboards or limited to 6 (i.e. 6KRO) or less.. Mechanical keyboards are costlier than the normal keyboards (rubber-dome keyboards) and weighs heavier.. Mechanical keyboards will have more features like back-lighting and extra gaming keys (like G1, G2, G3, G4 etc).. Choosing one is your personal preference..

There's loads of different types of keyboards - gaming keyboards are quite a broad range, have multimedia keys and anti ghosting capability and the more expensive feature certain mechanical switches that are preferred. Some will be backlit some will have a wrist rest.
Gaming mice normally just have more buttons, smoother motion and higher sensitivity whilst lighting up like a christmas tree.

In mice, gaming mice have higher (adjustable) DPI (Dots Per Inch).. Higher the DPI more the precise move/aiming of mouse pointer in twitch/fps games.. Also gaming mice have more than three buttons for various controls.. Also they're costlier than normal ones..
