Hello, I want to build a cheap gaming PC and I made a list of the components I want to use but I'm not too sure if it's good. Please check and correct.
Case:
Fractal Design Core 1000 Mini Tower
CPU:
Intel Pentium G3258 CPU boxed FC-LGA4, "Haswell", 20th Anniversary
Motherboard:
ASUS H87M-E Socket1150 4xDDR3 Max 32GB microATX In
RAM:
Kingston HyperX Red 8GB (1600MHz, CL9, 2x 4GB) DDR3-RAM Kit
GPU:
Asus Radeon R9 280X (PCI-e, 3GB, GDDR5, 2x DVI, HDMI)
or
Gainward GTX760 Phantom (PCI-e, 4GB, GDDR5, DVI, 1 GPU)
PSU:
Evga 100-W1-0500-KR 500W
Storage:
Western Digital Blue 1TB HDD
Connectivity:
TP-Link TL-WDN4800 N900 WLAN Dualband-Adapter (PCI-Express, 450 Mbit/s)
Bluetooth 4.0 USB stick
And I think I need an extra fan for the back to get some airflow (I think there's only one in the front of the case).
What do you think?

CASE: Great. I love that case.
CPU: depending on what you're playing that should be fine. If you count on playing like BF4 on ultra...no.
Motherboard: I like the h87m, I personally use it.
RAM: I prefer Corsair Vengeance, but it's okay..
GPU: Definitely go 280X. Can't go wrong there.
PSU: EVGA is good.
Storage: Go Seagate Barracuda instead of Western Digital Blue.
Connectivity: Looks great to me.

Get a Z97 motherboard and a coolermaster hyper 212 evo cpu cooler so you can overclock the G3258 cpu. That's what it's made for!Get 1866 cl9 1.5V ram for not much more
Get a 600W power supply for the R9 280x eg seasonic 620, XGFX 650 or Antec HCG 620M
The H87M Motherboard got an update for being capable of overclocking the Pentium G3258 anniversary edition so that should do it.
Do you think the coolermaster hyper 212 evo will keep it cold enough for overclocking?
Is the RAM upgrade worth it? I don't want to spend that much money...
The online calculators all said a 400-430W PSU is required so I thought 500W is good...

Actually the CPU performs very well if you overclock it a lot as i7baby suggests, and WD are considered to be more reliable than Seagate generally, the WD Blue is a very good drive.

The 212 will be fine
The 1866 should cost the same
RealHardTech says you need a 600W power supply to run a PC with a R9 280X
Get one from tiers 1, 2a or 2b per http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1804779/power-su...

Hm. That's news to me. I guess my knowledge was wrong about HDDs.
As far as the CPU, I knew it had the potential to be powerful, I just meant do expect it to perform like an i7/high end i5.

Thanks for the feedback!
Well I'm going to play Crysis / Crysis Warhead and of course the new games (like Battlefield) on it but none if it has to be on maxed out settings (even if it would be great) but why would the CPU kill Battlefield? the GPU has to be good right? And I want to overclock it so it shouldn't perform too bad.
The Corsair Vengeance is a bit too expensive in my opinion.
I'll change the HDD but what's the difference?

Well Battlefield and all games are slightly CPU powered. The 280x should DEFINITELY take out some stress. I would say you can expect to play battlefield on medium. Also, don't change the HDD, I was wrong. If you OC the Pentium it will be great.

however the crucial factor in psu selection is amperage on your 12v rail. The manufacturer should specify it

Ok changed back the HDD.
Do you mean I'll be able to play it on medium with or without overclocking?

If I take an Asus R9 270X instead (because of my budget) which PSU should I take?
