HELP Cant get 60Hz on my 4k Monitor

I just got a ASUS PB287Q 28-Inch Screen LED-Lit 4K Monitor

Im using a display port cable.

Im useing a radeon hd 7800 series gpu
I know the gpu is not enough to do gaming at 4k at 60hz but it would still like to get it running.

Im running windows 8.1 x64

I cant get any thing higher than 30hz

I'm not talking about games. Windows it self will not let me select anything above 30hz

i don't know if my other one went through but ur using a mini display port cable and it says it support 1.1a and some pcs but i see alot of macs that might be the issue..you have another card with a acual display port and use the cable that came with it would be a good test.

If you have connected the PC to the monitor via HDMI you would only get 30Hz; however if connected to the DP, then please go in the oSD and change the setting to 1.2 instead of the default setting of 1.1
This should enable you to get 60Hz
