Help a small website of techs ripped me off on an "advice" $936.00 build, specs are in comments. please help im very upset

please help! I think I got the wrong advice, and spent $936.00 dollars on a gaming computer that doesnt run games! I took advice from these Computer Science guys, one of them even claimed to be an advisor for some video card company, http://nstocomputersolutions.tripod.com. Well they told me to buy these components for a top of the line computer, well i did, these guys seemed to be enthusiasts. heres my specs:

cpu: Celeron G1830 2.8ghz
MB: MSI z97 gaming 9 ac lga 1150
ram: Axiom 4gb ddr3 1333
hd: Toshiba dt1aca200 1TB 7200rpm
psu: Laintec 700 watt gaming two 2x80mm blue led
GPU: Nvidia Geforce 8400gs sff pci-e 16x
case: aero cool xpredator gaming pc case
dvd: HP DVD Burner black qs208aa
bluray: Pawtech slim usb 3.0

windows 8.1 32 bit.
-also bought battle field 4

$936.00

I ordered it and the parts came, from newegg, and amazon for the dvd burner, and battlefield 4, the techs from the website started ignoring me, they said they would help me build it on skype using a webcam. so i had to take it to a computer store all the parts, to have them assemble it and that was almost 200 dollars that I had to barrow from my aunt. Anyhow I loaded BF4 and it says something about my graphics card but it loaded, its all on low settings on like 18bit colors and 800x600, i cant adjust anything, and everytime i move the character the screen blinks likes its wavy and refreshing...I CAN NOT PLAY IT AT ALL!! I spent so much money on this computer and someone told me to come here to get help. Im willing to spend $200 more on an upgrade. plz help thank you!

So many things wrong with that thing:

CPU: Celeron Gxxxx
GPU: Entry level when it came out 3 years ago
PSU: completely unknown. Never heard of it.
For that case, you didn't need a SFF GPU

You need a new CPU and GPU. And when you do, change the OS to 64bit.

Looking further:
A $300 motherboard and a $60 CPU.

That build is is totally wrong. I think you'll need to spend more than $200.

You need a better CPU, you need a much better GPU, you need a new PSU, you need new RAM, you don't need the Blu-ray drive, and you should have a 64-bit OS.

You can start by getting a new CPU and GPU. Unfornately, for what you want, the price range for each one of them would be about $200 so you can only get one.

If the computer is new, try to sell some parts on Ebay or something and get money for other parts. I'll try to help you as long as you need. I'll leave you a really nice gaming build for a $900 budget (this one does work). I know you only have $200 to spend, but you'll need more than that, maybe not now, but you will need sooner or later.

Think positive, you don't need a new Motherboard, it's one of the best on the market right now.

I'll come back soon.

This doesn't even make sense. If you can't build a computer, you would either learn from watching online tutorials or buy one already made. Not pay $900+ for consulting, lol?

But your probably young and will survive(this hard learning experience).

Junk that system, or "dump" it on ebay. Whatever... the GPU is from 2007, ect... it's all junk. (update, Drill97 says keep the board and OS. I'll agree, although I prefer win 7)
Go to ibuypwer.com or Dell (XPS, Alienware) or another competitor. Call them if you want. For $936 plus whatever you spent at newegg. You could buy a nice tower!

I'd accept it all a total loss. And start over with another $1000+ dollars. Work, borrow from family... ect... Sorry you got scammed thou:(

I included stuff you already have, but those do not count on the final price. This is the order in which you should buy the components.

1. Graphics Card (BF4 in Ultra at about 60fps)
2. Processor (4 cores, 3.5Ghz, overclockable)
3. RAM (4GB is enough now, but won't be for much longer)
4. Power Supply (the one I specified is certified, that's really important)

Sell the Blu-ray drive, you don't need it at all. Try to sell every component you replace. You have a really good motherboard, a great case and a decent hard drive so that doesn't need to be replaced. When you can, get the 64-bit OS, even if you don't buy it, it is advised to have it, especially for gaming.

What should be my first replacement, the guys at the store, the owner said I can come back and they will show me how to do it for free of charge its a local computer store :)

First the R9 280X in my opinion. After, the i5-4690K. The GPU is more important for gaming.

Thank you community for the help, its seems I cant do much about this being hardware, Im not upset about the taste of PC, I got the wrong flavor :( Others are saying on xbox live to go with the GPU first, Im too gullible, I kind of have a learning disability, im kind of slow I guess, thank you for all the help!
