Firefox bookmark file -- where is it?

Many Firefox bookmark comments online, but all are older and don't apply or help. I had a laptop failure (power, not disk related) and then moved the laptop drive to a 2nd system. I was able to recover my files of interest from the drive (now my D:\). The only thing I now need are my Firefox bookmarks. The laptop drive was running WIN7 and had the latest Firefox version as well --- so probably V30-ish. Does anyone know where the bookmark file resides on the drive and what it is named? A lot of older online answers don't work -- ie. the location described doesn't match up etc as many forum answers are from 2010-2012 timeframe.

Yep, thanks -- I forgot about the Windows "Hidden file" thing -- now all these Mozilla descriptions actually make sense -- the issue was indeed that they were talking about "hidden file names" in their "how to" answers. Thanks so much for your quick answers!

I've been there -- the issue is that the bookmarks I want are now on the D:\ drive and not the drive booted. The article you referenced assumes there is a bookmark backup file or that the bookmarks I want are on the C:\ drive that is running Windows. At least that is my interpretation. The location they reference for the backup profile does not exist on my drive.
