Hello!
I have purchased a new computer recently with the following specs:
Intel Core i5 4570 3,2 Ghz
Asus B85M-G mobo
Sapphire R9-280X Tri-X OC 3GB
8 GB DDR3 RAM
1 SSD, 1 HDD
CM Hyper 103 CPU cooling fan
Corsair Carbide 300R case
2 120mm fans and 1 140mm fan in the case
FSP Hexa 500 PSU
My problem is that when I play games and the GPU is under full load (indicated by the lights on the back of the gpu) I hear a buzzing sound coming from the PSU. I use headphones so I dont hear it normally, but when I take them off it can be heard. The other thing is when under not heavy load (browsing/movie or video watching) the fan gets this noise like it had a bearing problem, but when it gets under heavy load and the fan spins up then this noise disappears.
My question is shall I replace the PSU, can it damage my PC on the long run, or is this something I should not worry about?
Thanks in advance for the answers!
