AMD MSi R9 290
nevermind the specs and cpu usage, I check that on task manager, I just want to know if the GPU throttling is normal? and what anything else find not normal? I'm playing Skyrim at almost High/Ultra with Med shadows, my gfx card should run everything at ultra on 125fps but something is not right and it doesn't not sure why. I have enough ram, speed, etc. So mainly in the picture does anyone see something odd?

More about : ordinary

What FPS do you get? You said you think it SHOULD run 125fps, but what do you get instead of that?

in towns 27-32 and normally outside depends on direction im lookin it varies from 37 to 47 sometimes 52, on rare occasions I notice a drop, but thats only when I'm going near a town or something similar, like crowded.

edit: I know skyrim has a vsync, however this issue is not only about skyrim, my fps is not as good as its claimed officially.

Well that's pretty normal. GPU's usually switch up their memory and core clocks to keep up with whatever tasks they need. All mine do this and I see no performance hit. It's not throttling, just fluctuating a bit.

God dammit if there is no throttle then why is my FPS in general so bad -cries- claimed to go up to 125 on skyrim yet I see 32 - 47 depending on location/direction, same goes for other games! can't hit high fps.

What GPU deos that? And do you even have a 120hmz monitor? Did you REALLY think you would go to 120 FPS with most likely a low end GPU?

I said my GPU's claimed fps is 125fps on full ultra skyrim, meaning its not low end GPU, its msi amd r9 290. Also, my monitor is not 120, I know it will not show 120 fps coz mine is 60 but, it can still be recorded (the frame rates my gpu is capable of getting), so I need help with the data given above, why am i getting low fps.

Official and almost anyone who has an r9 290 can confirm it should run at 60fps stable nothing less.
It may be the Target temperature that is limiting my performance, where can I access it if its not on that menu..ffs.

Great build, but Windows 7 does have it's own limitations...

...limitations, I don't think Windows 7 would limit me from getting my card's healthy 60fps that i'm supposed to get.
