I already had a 9600gt gpu and i bought another one, and connected with sli, but I keep getting the same fps as I got with a single 9600gt. I enabled it on the nvidia control panel.
Any ideas?

Thanks.

Does the game support SLI? What are the rest of your PC's specs?

And what's the game you're testing with?

The 9600gt is an ancient card..

How many fps are you getting? On what settings/resolution? Are you sure that Vsync is off? Please post a picture of the SLI/surround/physx tab of your Nvidia control panel.

All of that looks fine. Does SLI have any effect in other games?

Don't know, I missed that. Does it only appear if you enable SLI?

have you tried the second gpu by itself as primary gpu?

It seems like the VRAM is bottlenecking the card in SLI. I see that the card only has 512mb VRAM

Karadjgne --- you mean if i have tried the videocards one by one? Yes i have.
Eduello --- Yes, if I disable SLI it doesnt appear.
AznGOD --- :(  they both have 512 mb. Does it influence the performance?

adding extra card does not double vram. So, you only have 512mb vram

I ran a benchmark with enabled and disabled SLI.

SLI disabled: 7.70 FPS
SLI enabled: 14,48 FPS

WOW, why dont I experience this difference in CS GO?

Download MSI Afterburner to monitor your VRAM usage while gaming.
