I am planning to sell my gaming PC and getting a laptop for college, and I was just wondering how much I should sell it for. Apologies for formatting, I'm on mobile.

CPU: i5 3570k, stock cooler
GPU: MSI TwinFrozr II 7870
RAM: 1600 MHZ Corsair Vengeance 8GB
HDD: 500GB WD Cav Blue
PSU: Some Silverstone PSU, 750W
CASE: NZXT Phantom 410, Black
MOBO: AsRock Z77 Extreme4
KB/M: Razer Blackwidow, Logitech G500

Go onto pcparkpicker.com and price it out and then take off 30-50% of that. Your CPU is a few gen's old now, your GPU is ok, but not to max all next games on ultra.

The problem with selling gaming PC's that are a year or two is old is several fold.

First, someone buying a PC just for the house isn't going to pay "gaming PC" money to go on facebook, they will go to bestbuy.

Someone who wants a good gaming PC will built it themselves, and get the latest technology.

Selling used introduces all kinds of problems of where to meet, how to deal with a large amount of cash, warranty, etc.

Used is used, 1 day or 1 year. I'd put it on Ebay with a minimum starting bid of $350.
