Solution
SM/GPRS/EGPRS R99 WCDMA/HSDPA R5, HSUPA R6, HSPA+ R7 WLAN: IEEE 802.11b/g/n

That is what it supports. at the end is the B/G/N so yes it can be used to get Wifi from a Wireless router or Access Point like at home or at a cafe or something along with getting broadband from a broadband carrier and also it can be used as a HotSpot (connect phones, tablets, ect) to it for internet.

That huawei is a special card it is designed to act as a hotspot. It uses the wireless antenna to allow other WiFi machine to connect TO it not for it to connect to other devices. You would think it could have that option but one I helped someone with only works as a hotspot and as a 3g modem not as a wifi card. Some models I have seen from ATT do allow connection to wifi networks but these were made by a company other than huawei

It is highly unlikely they will work. They use LTE on ATT frequencies so even if you unlocked them they will have the wrong radios likely. The huawei card is mostly sold in india and is a HSPA+ card. Data cards are many times worse than the phones where you mainly had to worry about CDMA vs GSM.
The largest issue your carrier. Even if you were to find a card they could refuse to let you activate it on their network. Your best bet is to contact the carrier and see what options they have to offer.
It is extremely hard to get information on many of these data cards. The same exact company will make device that work on LTE for say verizon and ATT but they will not divulge if or how you can change the radios to operate on the other carrier even though they are both LTE and the frequencies are very close....but of course not exactly the same.
