Hello all,

I have recently gotten an SSD, so in the process I re-installed windows and all my games. The games were on the HDD that previously held the OS as well.

After the whole SSD update, my CSGO has been running terrible. The previous 200+ FPS on Black Gold (All maximum settings, even max AA and AF, except for Shadows on Low for Enemies) is now <150FPS for pretty much every single map even on the lowest possible settings.

I have tried deleting "background.swf" however I couldn't play any games (Stupid VAC), I tried the "Play CS:GO Like a Pro" guide, and as many other threads and such that I could, but still not dice.

I'd think not having the OS on the same HDD would improve the loading times of certain things for the HDD if it doesn't have to also load many programs including the OS.

As a side note, many other games do not have this problem, and some games even benefited in loading times and slightly benefited in some performance.
