According to OpenHardwareMonitor, one of my IT8721F chips is running at about 70C compared to around 40C for the other two of the same chip.

I've been having bluescreen problems and I have eliminated program incompatabilities, malware, hard drive SMART errors, bad RAM sticks, bad videos cards and a whole list of others. These things do not appear to be causing the BSOD's.

Could a hot IT8721F chip be causing my BSOD problems?

Thanks.

I think it is a interface chip to a temp sensor. this chip should not be hot, it would be the reading from the sensor that would be considered hot.
