Hi

Quick question, is there any better CPU for gaming for around the same price than the AMD FX8350 Black Edition?

Also does this cpu support PCI-E 3.0?

Any help would be great

Same problem I faced, and in that case, that extra 55pounds or $100 or so dollars, can towards a better GPU and cooling for your case. In the state, the prices are even, rest of the world, intel is way more expensive it seems.

If you are in the states, the Intel chips are usually better for the same price than the AMD. In Canada, when I built my PC, it was an 8320 or Pentium dual core for the same price. No brainer there, but an i5 or i7 will usually way out do a AMD.

AMd doesn't support 3.0, some intel boards do, but no video card needs 3.0 yet anyways and all 3.0 cards work fine in 2.0 slots.
