Hi, I'm having an issue installing my RAM sticks on my motherboard. The Memory sticks are Gskill Ripjaws DDR3 1600, and the board is a Gigabyte H97M-D3H. According to the manual these should be compatible?

I can´t seem to be able to close the clips on the board to secure the sticks. It's like they are too big or something. Any ideas?

So, your board is DDR3 compatible. So first I would ask if this is your first RAM upgrade, and if so ask if you lined up the notch on the sticks and in the slots? Second would be, are you pushing down to fit the sticks in? Surprisingly they almost always fit very snugly and all you need is a bit more downward force to have it snap into place. Generally you'll hear a "click" when you've set it right.

If its neither of those, I'd double check the notches on the sticks and make sure they really are DDR3 because I've never heard of different sized RAM but I've heard of mix-ups at the shipping warehouse.
