Hello, i recently found out the GPU i brought is really bad, i mean really bad, it is a ari radeon hd 5450 2gb ddr3, so i was woundering after all i am upgrading, what should i get, i cuurently have my eyes on a MSI Radeon R7 250 2 GB PCI Express 3.0 x16, but i don't know if my PC is compatible with it or if there is something better i can get for my low budget of £70, i foudn one for sale for £65 in new and unopened condition.

Here is what is currently inside and on my pc:

CPU;
Processor: Intel Xeon X5355 Quad Core @2.66GHz
Codename Clovertown

Package: Socket 771 LGA
Technology: 65nm Core VID 1.350 V

Mainboard;
Motherboard: Dell inc. 0DT029 A00
Shipset: Intel 5000X Rev. 12
Southbridge: Intel 6321ESB Rev. 09

BIOS:
Dell Inc.
Version: A01

Graphics Interface:
PCI Express

Link width & Max. Supported: x16

Memory;

General:
Type FB-DDR2
Size 8 GBytes

Graphics Card: (which i want to burn)
Name: ATI Radeon HD 5450
Somethings i know about it, 2gb, DDR3, 3.8gb hyper memory, openCL & uses PCI Express 2.1.

I think i got it all, all the info apart from the GPU is from CPU-Z, i can send screenshots if you need them.

Questions put basiclly:

*Can my PC use the MSI Radeon R7 250?

*Is it worth the money? (£62.35)

*Is there something better for under £70?

That is all thank you

Solution
Yes, the 5450 is on a par with very old integrated graphics.
The R7-250 would be a nice boost.
Do you know what psu you have? It is recommended that the R7-250 use a 380w psu:

It can probably run on less, like 300w if you have a good psu. Dell is usually not.
Unless your case is a slim case, it should fit.
Worth is something only YOU can determine. But... if your current card is not doing the job then an upgrade is in order.
Graphics cards are priced competitively, and you will gat about what you pay for at most every price point.

Another less expensive option might be the GT730(64 bit, not 128 bit) Performance is a bit less than the R7-250 but much better than your current card.
